I love this dedication because you can feel that the author loves where they are from and the people in their community

This dedication feels like it was written especially for me, when I’m sad I stare at the night sky to remind myself everything is temporary.

People around the word have heard of the unjust murder of George Floyd, and I can’t imagine being his daughter and seeing my fathers murder all over the internet. Gianna Floyd deserves a black fairy tale (this book barely delivered on this, but that’s for another post).

What can I say, I’m in love with love and the idea of it.

I love the play on words of pledging in a book about fraternities and sororities, because they’re supposed to be a life long thing and so is marriage.

I love to think how Taylor’s ancestors and future families would read reading this dedication to them. This was a touching way to make everyone feel included.

I love when authors shoutout their whole support systems. Also, I’m not a Christian, but the last two lines really resonate with me. It makes me feel comforted.

This is a heartfelt dedication to the two most important men in her life, and it warms my heart to hear about their unconditional love.

Being let into a community that you don’t belong to is a special privilege, but to write a book you must have this trust. I’m glad the author did the research to wrote about a DeafBlind person.

This dedication makes me wish that it was for me, and that someone felt this way about me.
